I'd like to think he is. |Time we had some happier stories. They're really scraping the barrel at the moment. All the nonsense about a new name for the Bull. Peggy's money scheme, Josh's dodgy doings and all that with Jim's builders. Half done stories such as Lily and that awful man. Where are the old faces? Is it time for it all to be obliterated by a huge mudslide from Lakey Hill? Or another flood. Or both.
By the way, Leonard was in Father Brown the other day. A clown. Mr Feste. Recognised the voice.

Oh, I'm obviously pointing the wrong wsay - I thought Father Brown was Vicar cum detective - maybe it really is the name of the pub..
Talking of getting Bumped off... At the risk of getting into Morbidity, I mentioned a Pub (Blind Beggar, Whitechaple) raised by someone else in another Mustard (Peets). Used by recent London Gangsters. But the bullet holes were replasterd and decorated, but for the Tourist business the bullet holes were restored. This bod in Peets tells me that it was "Made up" because He worked near there and knew all about it...... Oddly, I also worked opposite, and was in that pub with a Detective Tutor, (he was pumping me for access to the Medical records which I wouldn't give him) For here were most certainly deadings there. Dont Panic .. He was setting up a test-problem for a detective college for a previous deadings 100 years previously.
I have now gone right off topic - the Question in Peets was about Changing of Pub Names, Like The BUll.. Perhaps I'm losing my marbles
