Greetings from milder, cloudy and occasionally rainy Oxfordshire.
After a completely sleepless night, I did finally fall asleep after OH had got up for a shower at about eight o'clock. I then slept for six hours. I feel like a zombie now. I've run out of the only hay fever remedy that works for me, and can't get any more. The oilseed rape is flowering now so I'm sneezing constantly and have a permanent post-nasal drip which is stopping me from sleeping.
A friend rang just after I'd had a shower. She is bored to tears, having to stay indoors for three months, extremely vulnerable because of both her age and health issues. I've sent her some craft items, and half a dozen eggs because her OH couldn't find any in the shops. My OH took them round to the house and left them on the doorstep.
YD has had an online meeting with one of her tutors, who is very pleased with her work. They are going to discuss and decide on a subject for her final project. YD has been doing some of her own drawing as well, and designed six mystery Easter eggs for sale online. They have all sold! She has drawn individual hatchlings (e.g. dragon) for the buyers.
Chicken report: three eggs, from Pearl, Lilith and Dottie.

Cold, Tired, Pussycat clawing at me to demand more food (different to what He already has), Want to get to shops for the Oldies time-slot in the morn so a nearly night might be expedient, and be back in time to get important phone calls tomorrow morn, Feeling unwell, (Might be just tiredness, but feels like a cold - Had Winter flu-Jab so wont be that), Got Headache but Diabetical pills includes daily aspirin so I can't take any headache pills ... So all-in-all, I'm orf to bed.
I'd have been in here earlier but for the internet going down for a couple of hours.
Nothing much to report here, except I had a much better night's sleep.
OH went for his daily walk before having a telephone conference, part of his consultancy work. I'm missing my aqua. I really must make the effort to go for a walk. I just can't keep up with OH, who walks very fast.
We are avoiding shops as much as possible, so last night I made a loaf of wholemeal bread in my newish breadmaker, which had only been used for pizza dough before. It rose beautifully and sliced well. YD had some for breakfast. The only downside is that the wholemeal bread programme takes five hours. I'm now making a white loaf, which takes an hour less.
Chicken report: four eggs, from Pearl, Griselda, Lottie and Dottie.
