...ever get back together? Should they? Or should Emma just offer her shoulder to Gavin to cry on?

Get back together. Hopefully they've both learned a lot. They can be a proper family again. That's what they all need.

They moved a little closer to getting back together today, even though they were talking about divorce. Hopefully they will realise in time that it isnt what they want.

I think they´ll get back together again. It´s inevitable as they love one another and despite both of their mistakes within the relationship, their love for one another will bring them back together and hopefully make them stronger together and individually.

For what it's worth.... I tend to think that when a couple go ahead and produce children, there prime purpose in life has become to support the Kids. Whether or not they perpetuate their emnity, or even one murders the other after the Kids are into adulthood, then so beit. But until then they must (not merely "try", but to succeed) provide Harmony for the Family that they have Harvested. They have no other purpose in their existence.

IRL??? Real Life?? What's that. Is real life when you go your separate ways and stop lurking?

It's the ideal, but sadly not always possible.

Emma became impossible with her disgusting obsession. It is she who needs to learn what pressures she put upon Ed. Then the incessant wallowing that she and hhers are not entitled to get anything in life. She has benefitted from the most incredible and totally unrealistic generosity from Oliver. God I wish someone would let me live in a million pound farm house for peanuts.

Yes, Emma's obsession was indeed responsible for Ed getting involved with illegal stuff, and Emma has never really admitted her responsibility.

Emma is better with Ed. I don't like Gavin or Phillip.

I don’t like Gavin and confess I did hope he had blown himself up, however, I quite like Philip but can see all this may ruin his relationship with Kirsty.. mark my words. 🤨😜

Under all his 'niceness' there's an angry, violent streak. He'll use it on Gavin one day with disastrous results. And if he can use it on Gavin......
