Just thought I would put it out there that seeing as they have really messed it up for me with the horrible Gavin/Blake.Philip storyline, and now in the full throes of lockdown i am usually doing my daily exercise around 7 ish I haven't listened for ages.
That rather means i haven't got a lot to say. I will try to keep up in the other boards, but that's where I am, just in case anyone wondered.
Really don't want to listen to repeats, so I have actually totally broken with it now.

I'm not bothering with the repeats either.

For the first time in years I'm not listening. I don't want repeats and I'm not looking forward to the new ones, whenever they are due. I can't imagine how it will sound being recorded individually in the actors own homes 😳 I'll give it a go though.

Not concentrating on the repeats, but the quality of the Acting is worth noting... (Not thahe actual character which may or may not attract attention) I'm going to mention two well acted personages..
Firstly Jenniedahling.. Never drifts from the character of being the Wife from Hell probably beniffiting from having a disinct clear voice - but well axcted nevertheless,
and Ed (the Younger) often a certain hesitation in respnding, and adjusted to the occasion, unlike his Brother who has Praaaaaalems finding an accent that his Family and neighbours have..
I won't mention Brian. or Matt, or Jim who are all well served by the Script giving them good lines.

So I am not alone in giving up on TA. I can’t say I have missed it.
I will come back when we get reasonable storylines, you remember them, everyday stories of Country Folk. Not Gang Masters and delinquency of all the younger generation.

I'm not listening to these repeats either. I think it's very poor of the BBC to have been unable to sort out recordings of current story lines, rather than what they've given us. After all, TA isn't high literature. It's a radio soap, and we want to know what's going to happen.
We'll start listening again when the repeats stop.

Same here, Judith. If they went back to the very beginning it would be better. Give us the very first episodes.

I wouldn't mind hearing Nelson's mellifluous tones again. Even Walter and Mrs P, possibly.
There were others whose names I can't remember now. Colonel Danby, wasn't it?

I remember when Elizabeth demanded an en suite but can’t think why or how it happened. Wouldn’t mind hearing that again if only to hear Phil Archer’s mellifluous voice 😊

I´m listening as I always do to the omnibus and am actually on the last one (3rd May) pre Lockdown. Apparently episodes start up again on the 25th, so not long to if you do want new material rather than repeats (which I haven´t bothered to listen to either).

What will have happened?
Grey Gables is bankrupt. No residents left at the Laurels. Justin has succumbed to the virus leaving Lilian a very wealthy woman. Adam is fretting about fruit pickers. Jenny is holding dinner parties. Susan is obsessive about the shop and sanitizing everything. The Bull is doing takeaway meals. Brookfield hasn't noticed the virus and farming is going on as usual.

Probably just the last one though I live in hope for some of the others 🤞🏻

Same here, Judith. If they went back to the very beginning it would be better. Give us the very first episodes. I would have loved that. I can still remember all the ones they repeated and have no interest in hearing them again, but archive material, something that reminded me of listening with my dad as a child, now that would have been worth listening to.

Is it tomorrow that Ambridge discovers what the rest of us have known for 12 weeks?
