Apologies to Keri. I am still not listening. I gave up when the explosion at grey gables turned into a vile gangmaster story. I have been struggling since SOC but am now completely archers free apart from going on websites.
I listened by proxy before I was even born as my Mum was a big fan, then heard it all through my childhood, though it wasn't on my radar as something for me to listen to. I started listening myself when Chris Carter was born, so 32 years ago 😳. I stopped after 4 monologues and won't listen again until it starts properly again - it's lazy rubbish, though I'm sure they think it's innovative and wonderful. It's the longest I've been Archerless for over 30 years and feel sad about that. However much I get annoyed with characters or storylines I miss it.
Goodness only knows. This new format has been going on for 2 or maybe 3 weeks now but I dont know how long it is planned for. They've had 3 months to make plans so surely they've done something. They should have anyway ☹
One of the topics was TA, and although they began with two listeners who love the current format, it was then pointed out that the overwhelming majority of listeners can't abide it. Some would even rather TA disappeared until they can do it properly.
One listener mentioned how easy it actually is to record separately and splice it together.
The Facebook group of which I'm a part very quickly shuts down criticism, and really only allows those who think TA is wonderful. A few of us tried again yesterday, but the thread was closed, again, by Admin.
It is good to know that those of us who are not enjoying TA are actually the majority. Now we must wait and see whether the BBC will take any notice.
