In fairness, it is an onerous job under the circumstances. I think they should have done the same as Doctors and just have a break until this is over. They do this every year on Doctors and it takes no harm. In fact I think it benefits from a break and gives the writers a chance to come up with more diverse storylines.
As an aside to that, just before lockdown they had a story about Bear & Sid, two black men, being stopped by Police for no reason. I was hoping that this would go on to become a proper story but now I doubt it will.

It is mainly monologues, but there have been one or two dialogues this week. Not before time, but the BBC is inordinately proud of a couple of minutes after weeks of boredom. This is from Feedback today. They don't seem to find it at all odd to have two people who live in the same house not talking to each other.
Seems like they are setting Fallon up for wanting a baby - does she realise children are only sweet toddlers for a short time? She can be the cafe owner, but not work, and then Emma can be manager and won't lose her job.
