Not so flaming June but grey & windy here. A few spots of rain but not enough yet.
Feeding Friday for garden. Done the Chelsea Chop on Echinaceas, Salvias & Achilleas. Never done that before so will be very interested in results.
Bought a proper face mask yesterday! Pink! Naturally 😂

Is that right that I have to get a mask to get on a bus... I Suppose I'll have to get a bus into town to buy one ...
That wont work will it... Had a couple of odd phone calls today: think I'll go back to bed, then get up and start the day afresh..

Yes it's true GLO but not until the 15 June so you have a week to get one, I predict a lot more used masks being thrown away around bus stops.
Sorry I'm late coming in today but the rain was to heavy to get my phone out at work.
Stay safe everyone

Thanks Steve - I thought a bloke on last night's Radio was implying from The Moday after this weekend. ... but it may have been a London Transport Bloke involved. LT Bus and Trains staff were getting panacy .. and LT have Laws of their own.

Greetings.
It's really changeable though mild weather here today, with sunshine followed by occasional heavy showers. We just had to rush out and get the washing in. Not enough rain to do any good in the garden. The first batch of runner beans may come to nothing. We'll have to get the hosepipe out to have any chance of a crop, I think. I slept even later than usual today, having been really restless worrying about YD's imminent return to classes. Only a few students are returning because most rooms are not suitable for social distancing. Her group is one of the lucky(?) ones.
OH has an online meeting this afternoon. He's still doing consultancy work for his former employers. He's been emailing our solicitor and dealing with FiL's final attendance allowance and the funeral bill today, and copying his brother into emails. Everything seems to be going as smoothly as possible.
Chicken report: two eggs this morning, from Dottie and Lilith.
Stay safe.

Hello again.
Sad news from ED. She took her cat Minnie to the vet today. It was severe mastitis causing the abscess and a mass pressing on Minnie's lungs, so sadly ED had to have her euthanised. CK2 is very upset. It's the first pet that has died.

Oh, Cookiepuss. So Sorry to read this... Cats are so involved in our lives.. Taking over our houses, Stamping on my desk, Comandeering any item of house and furniture that suits them, assume rights to stretch out on ones knees, chairs and even bed (to the extent of pushing us off if it suits them) and demanding waiter services.. So much more so than any other pet critter... (A previous moggy would arrange an Alsation into a suitable position to provide a good position for him to Sleep on). Commiserations to your ED.

Greetings from cool and cloudy Oxfordshire. The forecast rain has only been a few spots so far. Thanks for the sympathy re Minnie cat. I'll tell ED later. Here's a photo of Minnie on her way to the vet for the last time yesterday. She held onto ED's hand in the car and was very loving. I think she knew what was happening. She was tired. tinyurl.com/yavs8mbzOH has cleaned the Eglu. I have cleaned YD's bathroom. She was unwell last night (draws veil). She's ok now. Chicken report: three eggs, from Lilith, Dottie and Griselda. Stay safe.
