It was indeed! The only person I know who is an MBE was involved in two charities. Quite what Lynda has done, apart from organise village events and nag people into taking part, I'm not sure.

Many Years ago, My mates wife (she is now his widow) got a BEM. She had been a secretary to BR (Eastern) Manager. A very nice Lady, but I never knew what she did to get a Medal.

Heard on Twitter that the Philip SL was concluding so might dip a toe in this month as long as they promise some decent stuff. Kerry wasn’t involved in the last lot afaik
