Has anyone had any experience of these. I am thinking of getting one. The other day I switched on out oven just for a plate of chips for Mr D. I was having salad and cold meats he was having egg and chips (we know how to live Chez Dapply) and I was a bit gobsmacked wehn I realised the terrible waste of leccie just for his chips.
So I started looking at halogen ovens and I have found one which has a delayed start timer which could be usefull in the winter when I go riding, at least there will be a hot meal ready. Although having said that I do have a slow cooker. But a HO might be handy to do Mr D some potastoes to go with it. I don't eat many spuds.
Any opinions?

I'm only about a year out of replying to this one Dapply. But yes I have one of those table-top halogens. Bought it in Argos in the new year. Great for doing indoor BBQ-style meat. That, microwave, slow-cooker and bread machine does mostly all I need.
