As requested, we're here in the Ice House at Lower Loxley. (I assume they have one. If not before, they have now.)

If anyone is cold, let me know and I'll knit a scarf or even a jumper if needed.

Apart from Mermaid's kind offer to knit a scarf or jumper, if you're cold.
I have my 4th-best fur coat I'll be happy to lend out hire out to you. It's in good condition, apart from some unexplained red staining, around the chin and chest areas.

My lower half feels very vulnerable when there's a fish-eating bear around.

No. Not me, Merms. I used to defend you when Twellers wanted to fillet and batter you.
I don't eat much fish... Mainly seals .
It's Brown Bears, Grizzly Bears and Kodiak Bears who eat fish.

My feet are cold.
I always wanted to cuddle a polar bear, or as Captain Crieff said in Cabin Pressure Le Bair Polare"

My feet are cold. I always wanted to cuddle a polar bear, or as Captain Crieff said in Cabin Pressure Le Bair Polare" Oooo! If it wasn't for this white fur, you could see I was blushing. If I was blushing. As a species, we are at first sight, very cuddlesome, AND! Really good swimmers. At second sight, we're a bit scary

I used to love the polar bear in Norwich Museum. In a glass case. Seemed huge to me.

People often misjudge just how large Polar Bears can be. peanutandphouka.wordpress.com/2010/10/11/kc-zoo-polar-bear-passage/Scroll down to the life-sized PB statue. The claws on the front paws are at about 6ft off the ground. If you get this close to a real one, you need to quickly ask, what it is that polar bears like to eat. By the time you remember the answer : "Anything they damn-well want to." It's too late.

Oh my goodness me, how devastating.
Our old Dally Oscar used to love drinking seawater but as he had a dicky tum we used to stop him otherwise we would have to deal with squits later on.
