Day 1. Of the cellar under the Aga.
LP has gone to the Dairy Room.
S'lovely here, just like a traditional farm house kitchen.
Think I might chance a midnight snack of cheese on toast.

Jobsworth Council types... What do you expect. I'd be quite happy to see many of the Jobsworth types, destroyed with the cheese. Meanwhile... You're gonna like this. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y_Fenni_cheeseAt cheese shops and some stupormarkets, everywhere.

Ooo I love Y Fenni cheese, also Caws Cenarth. I can just eat it in great big lumps so I don't buy it.
Found a liking for blue cheese recently - Shropshire blue is lovely followed by Blackstick blue but I haven't got the courage to try Stinking Bishop. Mr D used to love Roquefort but I draw the line at that. One time I had to wrap it in greasproof paper and then put it in a box and then in a plastic bag....but I could STILL smell it. Euck

Do you like a nice ripe Stilton, Dapply ? If so try Stinking Bishop. Don't judge by the name. That's just after the pear. Tintern cheese is tasty, too. But I know what you mean about Y Fenni... Lovely that is.

Petit Breton.
Strong smell, great taste.
Bought some in Brittany when we were there. Easy to find the car on the ferry - followed our noses.

I don't like cheese with apricots, anyway. Tried it once and never since.
I suspect Judith. She makes out she's a real goody goody because she wears angelic fancy dress.
