I thought that was rather well written and acted. You really had the feeling that all this stuff has been suppressed since Nigel died and it has just all come to a head with Freddie etc. Now I just hope that they allow time for it to resolve, and for Elizabeth to get better, and not have her get all better in about 2 weeks.
First and foremost some else needs to be in charge - Roy seems the most obvious as he worked there before, or maybe Kirsty, as she is dissatisfied in the leisure centre.
Yes, it was quite an episode. It'll take a very long time to deal with all that she's been suppressing. Roy would be a good one and Lily could come home and work there - without the revolting Russ. She knows the business well.

Yes. I'm rather surprised that Lily hasn't come back yet. I suppose she has only just heard about it officially but she must surely have contacted her mother since Christmas.
Maybe Lily will use it as an excuse to come home. She certainly didn't seem that enthusiastic about university, or Russ, at Christmas. Of course there is the problem of the heir apparent who should be taking over when he's released from the clink, however unsuited to the role he is!

Well that answers my question then. Good scenes between Elizabeth and Russ I thought. He is such a mix - really nice and caring at times and a plonker at other times. I'm sure this is heading for an Elizabeth/Russ hookup. Then Lily can go to university and have a normal student life.

At the risk of the bleedin' obvious, ~ Is'nt Russ just insular... other people don't matter - just ignore until the (ex) schoolkids ribbing until it seeps in, then just go and do something pointless - go and sketch. If he is obviously unwelcome at home (someone else's home) just go for a walk in (someone else's home) park. If Work is too demeaning then just comment (without helping) his mistress (that He can't afford)?
