Did The council bloke come round following your complaint?
"Backhander is a bit weird. Were they Contractors, or direct Council blokes (or gas/water/lectrickery blokes). It's easy to say after the event, but did you find a Phone Number on the Lorry? OR did they leave a board which must show a phone number and position ref if blocking road or path. (better than the phone number on the Lorry).
addendum: you said someone commingto look - I assumed it was the Local Gov Bloke.

Yes I rang the number on their board , gave the ref. number..And no not been. Needed to get to our security posts so a neighbour helped me move the barrier off our drive on to council bit. We also moved the barrier off his drive.

No idea what to advise - ('fraid I'm knee deep with Council Problems, too). Was it the Council or a utility - The latter are more interested in their "image" - anything occurred since your last update?

No need to escape atm glo. I Will move the barriers myself when we do. Neigbour doesn't think the under-lay tar is strong enough though. He was standing on it and sticking to it. We cancelled our plans Thursday because of the rain. It had better be sorted on Monday or there will be a big fuss.
