I have a guest for lunch...
Assorted oven baking veg. (baking as I write this). For charring under the grill when done.
A few small new potatoes
Sliced lamb in light gravy - Not really needed but I cooked it yesterday evening, so have to have something to warm the meat in.

I'll have the veg, please. But no lamb - don't like it. Got any beef instead?

We have a nice joint of beef here Mermaid. We're having it at 6.30pm as little tedlet is working until 6pm. Also roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds etc, followed up by blackberry and apple (both grown in the garden) crumble and custard.

Turkey breast- washed off all the spice stuff,( have to be careful re salt and seasonings when I haven't prepared it,) added loads of swede, carrots & onion for flavouring , roast potato and parsnip , garden grown french beans, broccoli. Yorkshire pud.
Was going to do rhubarb crumble for sweet, but there's not enough rhubarb so it'll be ice cream or custard ( or both )

Read her posts, Bear. The time is there. I did, but I like to arrive earlier than others. I have to sample everything first.
